Building Map
For the first building which will be implemented for my kundalini game as stated previously this shall be based upon the design and characteristics of Rose Hall in Jamaica. For this reason it should be pretty straight forward to map the front of the building, however i shall have to be more creative when it comes to the interior.

Textures
These are a few of many textures I have collated and anticipate shall be used in construction of level of one of the Kundalini game.
Rose Hall Jamaica: Building One, level one
The building which the player enters in obtaining enough points to pass through the graveyard will be based upon the house Rose Hall building in Jamaica. This has been carefully considered, as this choice is in line with the concept of the first (Root) Chakra.
Rose Hall was the residence in Jamaica of a supposed English Witch in the 19th Century. Although it has since be modernised I feel that the building is in keeping with the grounded concept of the 'root' chakra, and the chosen environment of the first level of the Kundalini game. The root chakra concept is further established and developed through the intended implementation of imagery coinciding with this concept. This list includes but is not exhausted :
Grave yard
Graves
Skulls
Bones
Over grown trees baring skulls
limited lighting of environment
fog environment effects
the use of the Voudou man chakra character.

Expected Gameplay
Gameplay
After constructing the map for the first level of my Kundlini game I have devised the expected gameplay according to this map. The expected gameplay is as follows:
- After the game has initially loaded the first scene the player will be faced with is the graveyard scene. It is expected the player will walk through this area collecting all skulls found(which will acquire points for the player) and also answer brain teaser questions whch will be revealed when hovering over the graves (marked with 'Q'-this will not be viewable to the player, however). These graves are located in the grave yard area of the game.
- The second option is that the player walks straight through the graveyard to the gate leading to the Rose Hall Manor. However, if the player has not acquired enough points, (through collecting skulls and answering questions correctly) the player will be promted to go back and either collect more skulls ot anser more questions correcly before being allowed to pass through the gate into the Manor.
- Once the player has obtained sufficient points the player will be allowed to pass through the gate where they will encounter a non interactive 360 degree view of the Rose Hall Manor. This shall give them an idea of the building they have just entered.
- After the 3D scene the player will walk through the door of the first building of this game level, of which there is only one entrance.
- The player enters into a desolate, haunted looking building in a state of disrepair. In the middle of the room is a Table on which lays a book which when hovered over introduces the player to the Root chakra character- Voudou man. Voudou Man's role is to help the player throughout the Level One and issue the player with unknown information to help them on their quest.
- In this instance Voudou Man details to the player what they must do in order to suceed in this level of the game.
- The player then has opportunity to explore the Manor where they are able to collect food and drink to sustain life, answer questions to earn points, and skulls to earn money.
- There are also secret rooms in the 3 floor Manor house, on exploration of the Manor house (and entire level) the player may also encounter obstacles which they must overcome to continue, or be forced to go back a stage or lose points.
- On reaching the top of the Manor house the player will enter a very small room with only one door leading to an open scene of moving platforms high above a skeleton pit.
- The player must gage when to jump onto the moving platforms and navigate their way into the centre with falling into the skeleton pit and losing life.
- Once in the middle the player receives a surprise gift, and must navigate their way to the other side of the platform section of the game without falling into the skeleton pit below.
- Once successfully across, the player then crosses a bridge which lowers them to ground level and then enter into the grave yard once more. The player has one final opportunity to obtain skulls for money, Life boosters, food and drink to help sustain their life.
- The player must explore the the graveyard to receive their last message from the Voudou Man before entering the Transition building to go onto the next level.
Game Design Written Document
While undertaking each weekly task, I am still aware that along side his I must continually edit, amend and add to my game design written document.
Although very taxing to keep on top of all tasks, while concurrently detailing every change, or progress made concerning my game construction, this must be included in my written document with justifications as to why changes have been made and why.
I have now added to my written document details containing the expected game play of the Kundalini game, information concerning the characters to be used in my game- their ability to move where they shall be located in the game and their involvement. I have also began to include the details of the first level of my Kundalini game and map.

Game Level Design
Game Level Design
I have researched the mechanics behind game level design. Of the two game play options, (open world and linear) I have decided that I decided that I shall implement linear gameplay strategy to my game, while incorporating slight aspects of open world gameplay options. This decision was based upon that fact that my game is a brain teaser platform game and in keeping with the concept of the game, in using linearity to achieve an overall goal.
I feel that an open world game would not serve very much purpose in a game where the main principle is very directed and linear. This may distract form the purpose of the game and not well implement the aspect of urgency as this is a measurement of success within the game play.
As mentioned previously, although primarily a linear game there is opportunity to 'explore' aspects of each level entered. I.e. On level One: the Root Chakra, the player has opportunity to explore the graveyard area where they can discover skulls which are credited as money, Food, and drink which add to life sustenance, life boosters, opportunity to answer questions correctly which gain them extra points and information form the Chakra character; Which in this case (level One0 is the Voudou Man.
The game also incorporates platform gaming in the middle section of the game.

Character Design: 3D
As I am starting to adapt my characters in 3D, here are a few preliminary renders of my unfinished character which are starting to take form as the Scaral Character as detailed below.
Once completed I hope to fully rig and animate this character and develop lip syncing.

Sacral Character movement
Looking into the movement of my characters and how they shall be animated below is detailed plan as to how I shall go about this.
Chakra Mood boards
I have decided that I shall produce a mood board for each Chakra and game level, and shall (If time allows) incorporate the mood board into digital artwork in the form of flash animations which shall be later used as potential advertising material for my game.
FarmVille:
As advised to do for task three I have reached, and superseded level 12 in FarmVille.
